MAVERICKS FESTIVAL STRIVES TO BE 100% SUSTAINABLE BY ELIMINATING SINGLE-USE PLASTICS & USING COMPOST FOOD WARE

ZERO PLASTIC WASTE

All drinks at the Mavericks Festival will be served in 100% recyclable Ball Aluminum Cups. No Single-Use plastics at all is our goal. You can help us achieve this!

These cups are reusable, don’t throw away after your drink if you want to get another! Just bring up to the drink vendor and ask them to pour into your cup
Make sure to put in the “Recycling” containers or bring home

In addition, the Half Moon Bay Winery tent will be selling wine glasses made of 100% recyclable glass!

Available for purchase at the HMB Winery booth when you purchase a glass of wine
Reuse thru the day with your wine purchases

COUNTY OF SAN MATEO DISPOSABLE FOOD SERVICE WARE ORDINANCE

We are the 1st public event/festival in San Mateo County to adhere to this ordinance in 2022. We strive to continue being a champion of reducing landfill and increasing compost.

All food vendors serve with compostable items
Make sure to dispose in the “Compost” containers
